The HTC Pyramid has been pretty extensively leaked (see “HTC Pyramid pictures) and we had an HTC event invite yesterday for a shindig on April 14. Now French Android site, FrAndroid, has discovered an image of an ad for French carrier SFR which suggests the HTC Pyramid will be with out Gallic chums in May. That would make sense for a UK release date too with the April 14 event outing the HTC Pyramid before its arrival. Fingers-crossed Android fans.

Yet another reason to look forward to Mobile World Congress: it could see the unveiling of the HTC Pyramid, HTC’s first dual-core Android phone. As well as its 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU, the HTC Pyramid will reportedly tote a 4.3-inch screen and hit the US in May 2011.
