Samsung has also added a Skype HDTV camera add on for its televisions, so that you can use your TV for giant video chat. The Skype HDTV camera (model CY-STC1100) is compatible with Samsung LED flatscreen TVs (we’re presuming a Smart TV is required too, to give access to Skype), and you don’t need a headset or any other gadgetry. It’s packed with HD sensor (720p at 30 fps), auto focus (that Samsung claims works even when you move around), plus four high-fidelity mics that work up to 13 feet away. The Skype HDTV camera fixes to your TV with magnets, and is a neat package at just over an inch deep.
