The Halo 3: ODST Firefight mode may have been lifted straight out of Gears Of War 2, but so what if it’s Horde mode, Halo style? Don’t fix what ain’t broke, right? Right. Halo 3: ODST isn’t out until September, but we’ve had a play of the new gameplay mode already, which sees you and your mates holding back an onslaught of Covenant aliens. An Xbox 360 keynote wouldn’t be the same without a Halo preview. We’ve known about the much-hyped Halo 3: ODST for a while, but we got an extended preview of the game at E3, and a release date – 22 September.
Bungie has clarified some of the grey areas surrounding the new Halo 3 DLC, specifically relating to the new Halo 3: ODST standalone expansion pack. Halo 3: ODST will come with ALL of the Halo 3 DLC – Heroic, Legendary and the upcoming Mythic map packs – when it launches this autumn.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker gameplay has been revealed in a new video from the developers at Kojima Productions. The footage shows the first Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker mission called For Starters: A Solo Sneaking Mission and a number of brand new gadgets at Snake’s disposal.
