The Axon Logic Haptic is an iPad rival that runs OS X. Psystar, the infamous computer seller flogging its own branded machines running Mac OS X may have filed for bankruptcy, but that’s not stopped it from releasing another new machine likely to land it in court. The company is back with a vengeance, and it’s thrown the gauntlet down for Cupertino with some barbed comments aimed directly at Apple.
We’re completely besotted with the Dell Mini 10v netbook. It’s everything an ultra portable lappy should be: functional with a good keyboard, and incredibly cheap. Now there’s another pro to add to the list: you can install Mac OS X, making this possibly the best value Hackintosh out there.
If, for example, you happened to have a copy of Mac OS X that would run on your MSI Wind and Big Stevo had officially given you the go ahead to do so, you could get an almost instant on, instant off system. For instance.
We’ve known for sometime that it’s possible to get OS X up and running on MSI’s little lappy – providing you’re prepared to look the other way as far as the odd end user licence agreement is concerned, that is. But it’s also got enough grunt to run Windows at the same time, which is pretty impressive.
It’s not even officially available yet, but that hasn’t stopped someone getting hold of an MSI Wind and coaxing it into running OS X instead of Windows.
