If you’re looking to buy a Blu-ray player in time for Christmas there’s now another option on the table: Sharp’s BD-HP21H. It’s a pretty standard movie deck in most respects, but does give a nod to greenness by using less power than most of its rivals: 26W when running and a mere 0.5W in standby.
