Grand Theft Auto IV’s second episode of downloadable content is on its way, Rockstar Games have confirmed. And the company have promised details on the downloadable expansion for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console “soon”.
Grand Theft Auto 5 will release “between November 1, 2009 and October 31, 2010″ Michael Pachter, analyst at Wedbush Morgan, has predicted. Pachter said there was a “reasonable expectation” of such a move on the part of Rockstar Games and its parent company Take-Two Interactive. The analyst went on to estimate current sales figures for the Microsoft Xbox 360 downloadable add-on for Grand Theft Auto 4, The Lost And Damned. Pachter estimates The Lost And Damned to have already sold more than one million copies.
Grand Theft Auto The Lost And Damned, GTA IV’s brand new download add-on, a tale of biker gangs warring on the streets of Liberty City, may have been getting rave reviews, but in Europe it has also been causing consternation.
If a listing on a major US retailer’s website is right, then upcoming Microsoft Xbox 360 downloadable expansion for Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost And Damned, will be available not just as a straight download from Xbox Live, but also in boxed retail format too.
