Yesterday we asked you, Electricpig readers, whether 3D glasses were a hindrance, and if glasses free 3D made it to market in the way 3D TV has done, whether it would convince you to take it up. 55% of you said that if you didn’t have to wear the glasses you’d happily pick up 3D TV. However, 27% were not convinced by 3D full stop, and said that 3D was just the next gimmick being pushed by TV manufacturers to make you think you need a new telly, and it made no difference if its came with glasses or not. 14% of you said that you would wait and see if it gave you eye fatigue, and commenters raised issues about the lack of 3D content to play on 3D TVs, the fact that many of us can’t see it due to poor eyesight, and some said it should stay in the cinema.
