Guitar maker par excellence Gibson has just expanded its range of robot guitars. Don’t worry: these aren’t going to become self-aware and attempt to eradicate their human former masters – they simply tune themselves automatically using clever sound processing and string-tightening motors. Les Paul and SG versions are available in the US, priced at about £2,000 and £1,800 respectively.
