The Star Wars 3D rollout is starting in February 2012. Hell yeah! But…the first film to get the 3D treatment will be The Phantom Menace. Boo! Lucas has announced that the whole saga will be release in order which means the first good Star Wars 3D film probably won’t arrive until 2015. The question is, how much more irritating will Jah Jah Binks be in 3D? We’d say considerably.

The entire Star Wars saga is finally hitting Blu-ray later this year. George Lucas revealed the plans during the Celebration V Star Wars convention this weekend. The owner of Hollywood’s bushiest beard (and creator of Jar Jar Binks) says all six films will have an HD overhaul and arrive next year.
