Infinity Blade, the finished version of the Project Sword demo shown at September’s new iPod touch launch, has broken cover in a demo and boy, it looks ace. Created by Chair Entertainment, a subsidiary of Epic (Gears of War, Unreal), Infinity Blade uses the Unreal 3 engine and will be hitting iPhone, iPad and iPod touch by Christmas with the graphics tuned to the Apple A4 chip. But just occasionally things go wrong, as owners of the PC version of Gears of War discovered this week. An expired Windows digital certificate is preventing players from loading up their copies of their legitimately bought-and-paid-for game, presenting the following error message: “You cannot run the game with modified executable code. Please reinstall the game.”
