Look here, it’s a cool hack that isn’t a Kinect hack! Over on Kickstarter, Tim Soo and pals have put together an iPhone and a Wiimote to create the Invisible Instrument, a controller that pairs with your computer via Bluetooth and works with software including GarageBand, Logic, ProTools and Ableton Live.

So far the Invisible Instrument can control a virtual instruments including a drum kit, violin, cello, bass, keyboard, guitar, theremin and act as a conductor’s baton. Soo and the gangt plan to add wind and brass instruments, harmonica and harp to the repetoire. You can check out the Invisible Instrument in action after the break…
