Nintendo has just unleashed the official list of day one launch titles for the Nintendo 3DS, which will be available from 25 March in the UK. Click through for the full line up of Nintendo 3DS games you’ll be able to pick up on day one.
As well as a full lowdown on the Nintendo 3DS and its UK launch date, we’ve also had a glimpse at the raft of Nintendo 3DS games that will be arriving at launch and soon after from games devs like EA and Konami. We’ve gathered them here together so you can drool over them all at once. In the launch “window”, between March and June, there will be 25 different games available for the Nintendo 3DS. While Wossy waxes lyrical (that’s easy for us to say), we’ll be reporting on the launch of the 3DS, but aside from Nintendo and Wossy, who else will be at the 3DS launch in Amsterdam tomorrow?
Nintento President Saturo Iwata has said that games releases for the Nintendo 3DS will not dry up a few months after launch. Iwata said that Nintendo has learnt from its mistakes with the Wii and DS, and will not leave gaping holes in the schedule of games releases when the Nintendo 3DS takes centre stage in a couple of months.
Remember Canabalt? It was a huge iPhone game and free Flash platformer. Well there’s a sequel! But don’t get too excited about Canabalt 2. It’s not headed for your iPhone or even a PC. Canabalt 2 has been developed for just one machine – the Winnitron 1000, a one-of-a-kind arcade cabinet in Winnipeg. So right now, no Canabalt 2 for you or your two-player craving friends.
