HTC has seen a lot of interest in its line of Android mobiles, but that doesn’t mean it has abandoned Windows Mobile. Quite the opposite, in fact – HTC France CEO Frédéric Tassy has announced, “We will always have more flagship products on Windows Mobile.”
From the now-established camera house of Panasonic comes the Lumix DMC-G1 – a micro four-thirds camera that’s aimed at both ardent amateurs and budget-conscious professionals who still want interchangeable lenses.
Much fuss was made about the T-Mobile G1 on its release, not least because it was the first mobile phone to be unveiled using the fabled Google OS Android. And, like a good meatball sandwich that’s overflowing with sauce, it doesn’t disappoint.
Google’s Andy Rubin revealed yesterday that the company expects at least 18 Android phones to be on the market by the end of the year – and those are just the ones it knows about.
