Konami has pulled the plug on its Iraq war ‘game-amentry’, Six Days in Fallujah. Konami told a Japanese news site that the level of public outcry and criticism had changed its mind about the whole project. “After seeing the reaction to the videogame in the United States and hearing opinions sent through phone calls and e-mail, we decided several days ago not to sell it,” a Konami spokesperson revealed.
Six Days in Fallujah could still see the light of day, as long as a new publisher can be found; developer Atomic Games has yet to decide what it’s going to do following Konami’s withdrawal.
