Final Fantasy XIII could be even further delayed, a Square Enix spokesperson has admitted. The game had already been pushed back out of 2009. But now, answering questions from Japanese financial reporters, a Square Enix representative refused to confirm that the game would even ship in Japan before the end of the financial year.
Final Fantasy XIII will use “nearly 100 per cent” of the processing power available on the Sony PS3, according to the game’s Japanese producer Yoshinori Kitase.
