With Gears of War 3 just over a month away, Epic is playing hardball when it comes to spoilers. After a pre-release version of the game leaked online recently, YouTube was flooded with videos showing off parts of the campaign.

Now Epic says anyone who has shared Gears of War 3 spoilers could find themselves locked out when the game launches for real on September 20. Banhammer, ahoy!

On the cusp of the latest installment of Mortal Kombat, serious news has been issued regarding Warner Bros. Interactive titles. The company has confirmed a deal to license Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 until 2014. This means that Rocksteady, the developer of Batman: Arkham Asylum, and NetherRealm, Mortal Kombat’s studio, will be using the engine exclusively for the next three years.

Look, Infinity Blade is brilliant. Seriously, why haven’t you downloaded it yet? Your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad needs it. And there’s more reasons to snaffle it up now with a new Infinity Blade add-on pack due to drop next week with further add-ons promised for January.

It’s here! Infinity Blade, Epic Games’ Unreal 3 Engine stunner, has finally popped up on the iPhone (as well as the iPad and iPod touch – it’s a universal app). The Infinity Blade graphics are as stunning as we might have wished for based on the Project Sword demo but beware it’ll take you a wee while to download at a heavy 300MB+. We’re giving the game a run through this morning but if you’re already playing it, click the headline and head for the comments to give us your first impression. Infinity Blade, the finished version of the Project Sword demo shown at September’s new iPod touch launch, has broken cover in a demo and boy, it looks ace. Created by Chair Entertainment, a subsidiary of Epic (Gears of War, Unreal), Infinity Blade uses the Unreal 3 engine and will be hitting iPhone, iPad and iPod touch by Christmas with the graphics tuned to the Apple A4 chip. Somehow we suspect those PSP cheerleaders might feel a little sick watching the amazing Infinity Blade video after the break…
