The Aliens role-playing game has officially been canned by Obsidian Entertainment and Sega. Obsidian, the developers behind Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II and the upcoming Alpha Protocol, announced the game with Sega in 2006, but announced on Friday “we are no longer working on the game”.
EA has revealed that it has no plans to continue with The Godfather series after disappointing sales of a disappointing sequel. Frank Gibeau, president of the EA Games label, told LA Times that there are no new Godfather titles in the pipeline and that “We’re not going to do another one.”
The Microsoft Xbox 360 is being used to the limits of its powers, according to a senior executive at Electronic Arts in Europe. But while the Xbox 360 is “maxed out”, the Sony PS3 still has “more power” to give, according to Patrick Soderland, Senior VP, EA Games Europe.
