There have been rumours flitting about the web for a while now that the makers of Skyrim and Fallout 3 are working on a massively multiplayer online version of the Elder Scrolls universe, and now it’s official. We’ve just found confirmation that you’ll be able to use mods in Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. An admin on Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim developers site Bethesda said: “We’ve always been impressed with what the community has done with our tools. Like the Elder Scrolls Construction Set for Morrowind and Oblivion, we plan to release the Creation Kit so you guys can mod Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.” If you haven’t caught an eyeful of the video promising dragons from Skyrim yet, click through! Bethesda is responsible for recent games including Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and upcoming titles including WET, Brink and Rogue Warrior, all unveiled at E3 2009.
