Asus to launch £130 Eee PC in 2009

If you thought the current Eee PC was affordable, just wait until you hear about what Asus has planned for next year. A company rep has announced that a $200 (£130) Eee netbook will be introduced in the first quarter of 2009.

Asus launches LED backlit Eee PC 1002HA

So, the Eee PC glut shows no signs of slowing down, with parent company Asus officially launching yet another variant. This version is called the 1002HA and it’s a wee bit swanky: it comes with a 10-inch LED backlit screen and a brushed metal finish.
