We only found out the Asus Eee PC 900′s release date and price yesterday (1st May, £329 if you were wondering) and now it seems there’s yet another new model closing in on the UK: an as yet unnamed laptop that will boast the all-new Intel Atom processor. Asus told TechRadar that the new model looks likely arrive here at the end of June, and that its new processor will deliver “a significant power saving”, giving the user as much as 1.5 hours more life than the 900 – which adds up to a total of five hours. It’s good news for fans of very small, very cheap laptops: Asus’ second-gen Eee PC has been given an official launch date and price. The Eee PC 900 will be hitting the UK on 1st May, priced at £329.
