After news that the launch date for the Nintendo 3DS is going to be all the way into next year, not Christmas like we expected, the 3DS also got a price for Japan, and we were assured by Nintendo president Saturo Iwata that 3DS games would not be more expensive than usual DS games.This got us thinking: if we had the choice, what would we prefer? To spend top dollar on a console, or extra cash on games?

Griffin has outed its PartyDock iPhone 4 and iPad console/dock hybrid early after leaks in the last week. The accessory for iPad and iPhone 4 is a dock with four simple wireless controllers. It hooks into a big screen too, so you won’t have to jostle for space infront of the iPhone 4. Take note though, it isn’t compatible with the iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS, only the iPhone 4.

It also revealed that the PS3 Motion Controller will have force feedback, something that rival Project Natal can’t achieve for obvious reasons.

sony-psp-goE3 might be over, but the PSP rumours haven’t stopped. Not by a long shot. The latest gossip from PSP land says that the next step for Sony’s PlayStation Network is to open up the handheld platform to “non-game apps”, which would put the console on a collision course with Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch, and go one up on Nintendo’s DSi Ware.

Unfortunately the Xbox 360′s monumental back catalogue of games and the Wii’s inimitable, innovative style have taken the gloss off the PS3′s mantle as “the world’s most powerful games console”.
