Google+ had a few hiccups this weekend when its notification system went haywire and began to fire out multiple emails about individual actions on the service. Our email inbox was clogged with 64 indentical messages and we saw reports of many other Google+ users with the same issues.

Google’s head of social, Vic Gundotra, appropriately headed for Google+ to explain how the glitch had occurred. For a company where servers seem to breed like rabbits, the answer was a little shocking: it seems Google+ ran out of disk space…

Here’s an odd iPad 2 bug: the Apple Discussions forums are reverberating with reports that the iPad 2 front camera locks up when using the FaceTime app to establish a video call.

The bug doesn’t affect every iPad 2 but it appears to be down to an iOS issue that should be relatively simple to fix. According to iPad 2 user reports, you need to restart to unfreeze the camera. Hopefully we’ll see a fix in time for the iPad 2′s UK debut tomorrow.

Remember that Windows Phone 7 data bug? We told you about it yesterday and now Microsoft has told the BBC that it is investigating the issue. Microsoft says there’s a fix on the way and told the BBC that it is “investigating the issue to determine the root cause and will update with information and guidance as it becomes available.” That’s good news but what about the people whose Windows Phone 7 devices munched right through their data allowances? Will Microsoft be offering compensation? We’re investigating.
