Stuck with crumbly copper wire broadband? Not for much longer you’re not, BT’s extending the trials of its fibre optic broadband offering 40Mbps connections to two more towns.

As you’ll soon gather from the blanket advertising planned by BT, the Hub and Hub Phone are being replaced by the monolithic Hub 2.

It’s a sleek black version of the all-white broadband router, with much faster N-standard Wi-Fi, as well as some tasty new connectivity. We were first in line for a full installation, and took pictures along the way. Come and take a peek!
