That may be part Black Friday/Cyber Monday related but the rune do not read well. Both Best Buy and Sony stores have slashed over $100 on Google TV devices. Another Kinect hack! And once again our mind is blown. The cool kids at the MIT Media Lab Fluid Interfaces Group (what a badass thing to put on a business card) have created a system that allows Kinect to become a Minority Report-style tool for web browsing. The Boxee Box impressed us when we got our hands on it for our Boxee Box review but it’s safe to say there are a few software issues. Thankfully, the first Boxee Box software update arrives with lots of bug fixes that sort issues like the 1080i playback problem and WiFi connectivity issues. Your Boxee Box should find the Boxee Box software update automatically but if it doesn’t you can ask it to grab the update manually.
