When we put together our look at Steve Jobs’ highs and lows following his resignation as Apple CEO, we totally forgot the time he was struck on the head by an Apple logo and physically gave birth to an original Mac with Steve Wozniak acting as midwife. Thank goodness then for the crazy CGI antics of Taiwanese outfit NMA News which has again taken on the Apple co-founder.

Jobs last got the NMA treatment during the iPhone 4 antenna controversy with a clip that saw him donning a Darth Vader helmet and fighting Bill Gates with a light saber. That footage is reused in the clip after the break along with some new and even more startling scenes including Jobs beheading the Grim Reaper and battling a battalion of murderous Android mascots. Singer, songwriter, model and DJ Sophie Ellis-Bextor may have another string to her already very twangy bow. In an interview with the Daily Mail the star made the rather bold claim that she was partly responsible for bringing the original iPod to market.

Microsoft founder Paul Allen releases his memoir tomorrow and he’s gunning for Bill Gates. He says: “I just felt it was like an important part of technology history and I should tell it like it happened.” He talks about the period after he was diagnosed with cancer when he claims he overheard Gates, his best friend and co-founder, complaining that he was “unproductive” to now Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. The Twitter 2010: Year In Review is full of interesting stats and suchlike but our favourite part is the infographic showing which celebrity Twitter followers joined the service this year. It stretches from geek royalty like Bill Gates to football stars like Ronaldo, legends including Leonard Nimoy and grumpy people like Russell Crowe. Facebook boss, Mark Zuckerberg, has reportedly taped a guest spot on The Simpsons. Though the social network supremo hasn’t confirmed that he’ll turning yellow, the timing of the season 22 episode, Loan-A-Lisa, is a perfect PR opportunity. It’s set to air in October just as the Facebook movie, The Social Network hits screens.

We reckon the appearance makes the Facebook supremo the third real life billionaire to feature in The Simpsons but sadly Bill Gates and Steve Jobs (as Steve Mobs) didn’t voice their characters. Read on for spoilers about the Facebook boss’s episode…
