The arrival of iWork 11 has been teased in a leaked Best Buy Mexico website ad. According to the page which has since been bounced off the Best Buy website, Apple’s work-happy software suite will be outed on Feb 19. That’s a Saturday which seems an odd time to out a new version of iWork. However, iWork 11 is due and we wouldn’t be surprised to see it revealed soon.

Best Buy UK online store is go

Best Buy is opening the digital doors of its online store in the UK tomorrow, for UK techheads to get their hands on Best Buy gadgets online. It also includes a “TechXpert” platform, where gadget geeks can post their own product reviews, and earn the chance to be a Best Buy product tester. Delivery costs start at zero, and there’s also the option to reserve and pick up in store.

Those stellar iPad sales are fast turning the laptop into an endangered species according to Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn. He’s been gabbing to the Wall Street Journal about sales trends at the big yellow gadget seller and claims the iPad has cut the chain’s laptop sales in half. Dunn says Best Buy is reorganising its stores to respond to the iPad effect – expect to see more ebook readers, rival tablets and smartphones stacked up while laptops and netbooks go the way of the red squirrel.
