BenQ is dipping its toes in Android’s waters. The Taiwanese manufacturer will be bringing out a smartphone and netbook, both running Google’s open operating system in 2010.
In their unceasing quest for the size zero screen, LCD manufacturers have been whittling down their panels to ever-slimmer proportions, but it’s BenQ that takes the prize for the world’s slimmest 24-inch widescreen monitor – just 6cm at its thickest point! That’s enough to bag design awards from both iF and Red Dot as well.
