The rumors have panned out. HTC’s first 10.1-inch tablet, which also happens to be AT&T’s first 4G LTE/HSPA+ tablet, will arrive in company-owned retails stores starting September 4. The HTC Jetstream runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb and packs a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor. HTC Scribe support is also confirmed so be prepared to doodle with the optional digital pen.
Other highlights to the HTC Jetstream include 1080p playback and capture, Adobe Flash Player, HTC Sense UX for tablets, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing and 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED flash, microSD card slot and a massive 7,300 mAh battery. Dimensions-wise the Jetstream is 7-inches long, 9.87 inches wide and .51 inches deep, and weighs 25 ounes.
