UPDATE: The free Angry Birds PC app promotion goes live tomorrow!

The PC World and Currys online app stores are giving away free downloads of Angry Birds PC. The offer will run for 15,000 dwnloads, or until the end of March, via the Intel AppUp PC App Store. This means that you’ll be able to get your Angry Birds fix on PCs, netbooks and laptops, in all its full screen glory. To get the download of Angry Birds PC, just sign up for an account with Intel AppUp.

Intel has launched AppUp, a new app store for Windows-based netbooks. Will the processor titans manage to create a store comparable to Apple’s iTunes App Store. Read on to find out what it’s been working on…
Intel’s AppUp store can be accessed through a desktop application for Windows netbooks. Download it and you’ll be able to access Intel’s app catalogue.
Current apps on Intel App Up include a Newsy app and a Boxee app. Intel has also make its SDK available, so if you got developer skills you can start building your own apps.
Intel plans to expand App Up to other devices in the future, with mobile phones, other handhelds and smart TVs like LG’s Skype TV.
