In less than two months the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace has managed to accumulate more than 5,000 applications. An achievement that tops the number of available apps in Palm’s App Catalog. It took Palm nearly 18 months to reach this point and at the current pace, the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace could surpass the BlackBerry App World in the next six months.
