First HP TouchPad running Android 2.2 hits eBayLast time we checked the HP TouchPad was in the midst of a fire sale. Priced at $99 here in the US, the first (and possibly last) webOS slate has sold out across most sales channels. Earlier this week we told you about an Android port in the works and today it seems one TouchPad enthusiast has done just that. A 32GB HP TouchPad running Android 2.2 Froyo out of the box has just been listed on eBay for a whopping $700 (£427). We’ve heard of a mark up, but 250 percent seems a tad high if you ask us.

The Android Honeycomb statue has followed the Android Froyo statue onto the lawns of Google.

The Android Honeycomb statue is our favourite yet, commemorating as it does the eternal battle between robots and giant bees. I for one welcome our giant bee overlords. Let us know what you think of the statue and what Google should do for the Android Icecream Sandwich statue in the comments.

Samsung Galaxy S Mini spied?

The Samsung Galaxy S Mini could be the next Android stunner to join the Galaxy S stable alongside the original Samsung Galaxy S and its MP3-gobbling sibling the Samsung Galaxy Player. Pictures purporting to show the Samsung Galaxy S Mini have popped up online along with specs that predict it’ll be an Android Froyo machine with a 5MP camera and Qualcomm’s budget MSM7227 processor. We’ll also see the same Super AMOLED screen tech as the bigger Samsung Galaxy S. Do we know this for sure? No. But with images of the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S2 also out there we’d expect to see much more from Samsung at Mobile World Congress in a few short weeks.
