Motorola Droid Bionic will finally launch September 8thIt’s about time. After suffering more delays than a flight out Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, the Droid Bionic will be “in your hands” on September 8th. Motorola confirmed the release date on its official @DroidBionic Twitter account.

Children have been conceived and then born in less time than it’s taken Motorola to launch the Droid Bionic. In the months following CES 2011, the competition amongst Android handsets has grown fierce. It’s hard to imagine a strong demand for the Bionic considering we’re moments away from Nexus Prime and Galaxy S II 4G LTE.

The delay opened the door for an even bigger announcement, the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G LTE. By way of a Korean press release, Samsung confirmed that 4G LTE support was coming to its Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 8.9.
