3D glasses have been getting wilder recently but the Transformers Cine-Mask 3D are the coolest we’ve seen so far. Set to arrive in Optimus Prime or Bumblebee versions, the Transformers Cine-Mask 3D packs a pair of RealD 3D glasses into a Transformers shell.

The glasses will work in almost every 3D cinema out there and are set to drop in time for the next film, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. There’s no clue yet on how much those beauties will set you back yet though but probably less than those Gucci 3D glasses we saw recently…

Samsung is getting in on the designer 3D glasses lark with the Samsung Silhouette 3D glasses, a tie-up with Austrian design outfit Silhouette. It claims the specs are the lightest 3D glasses so far and has managed to cram all the electronics in the active shutter specs into compartments at the back, allegedly creating an ideal weight balance. Other features in the Samsung Silhouette 3D glasses include the ability to recharge wirelessly and auto-detect when 3D content is being sent to them allowing them to switch on only when needed to keep battery life preserved for viewing. The Samsung Silhouette 3D glasses will be on show at CES 2011 and we’ll be hunting them down as well as the no doubt vast array of 3D TVs that’ll be angling for a spot on our best LCD TV list.
