Looking for the ultimate storage solution? LaCie thinks this is it: a new connected hard drive called the Internet Space. Yes, we know it’s a daft name, but the concept is as cool as its ice white minimalist design.

Sony shows off monster mobile memory cards
This is great news for anyone with a Sony Ericsson mobile. The M2 memory cards used in the phones just got an update, boosting their maximum size from 4GB to 8GB.
It means Sony Ericsson phones can now rival an iPod nano in the capacity stakes, as well as storing more photos and video than ever before.

Xporter boosts your console’s storage
Filling up your Xbox 360 or PS3 hard drive already? You could replace it with a bigger version, but if you don’t fancy the extra cost/hassle Iomega has another option: its new Media Xporter offers an extra 160GB of storage for movies, photos and music. The drive is compact and doesn’t require any external power, getting all the juice it needs from USB 2.0, so you can easily take it round a mate’s house too. Of course, being an external FAT32 hard drive it’ll also work with PCs and Macs - it’s just the size and lack of a power supply that make it super-suitable for consoles.

World’s smallest 8GB drive
Pen drives are getting ludicrously tiny, with the new PICO-C from SuperTalent getting dwarfed by a house key, despite toting a pretty generous 8GB of storage. It weighs 6g and measures up 31.3 x 12.4 x 3.4mm. No word on a UK launch date yet, we’re afraid.
Out TBC | $35 (£18)
