The SRSZX1 speakers come packing 40 watts of power, and an all aluminium shell. There’s also a compact remote, so you can twiddle volume from across the room. Inside there’s Sony’s special Mobius Duct technology to minimise wind noise while enhancing bass, as well as a Sigma-Type magnetic circuit to give the speakers more oomph overall.

Apple beefs up iMac line up
Apple’s off to Boot Camp 2.1 for new Windows release
Apple has just released an update for Boot Camp, the software that allows Intel-chipped Macs to run Windows. Boot Camp is integrated into Leopard, the latest Mac OS, and is available as a free download, while version 2.1 offers greater compatibility with Windows XP and Vista. According to Apple, it’s a highly recommended update, especially if you are one of the happy Boot Campers planning to download Windows XP Service Pack 3 that’s likely to be made available for download next week.
BenQ’s V2400W monitor is the world’s skinniest
In their unceasing quest for the size zero screen, LCD manufacturers have been whittling down their panels to ever-slimmer proportions, but it’s BenQ that takes the prize for the world’s slimmest 24-inch widescreen monitor – just 6cm at its thickest point! That’s enough to bag design awards from both iF and Red Dot as well.
