Honda hops on the sexy green bandwagon

Not to be out-done by Lotus’s awesome new Exige, Honda’s planning their own showing at the Sexy Green Car Show this month. The firm will show off its clean-living Civic Hybrid, which emits just 109g/km of CO2. Elsewhere, there’ll be a demo of Honda’s green history, including its hydrogen fuel cell cars that produce zero emissions. Take your kids to the show and they can enter a special car colouring competition, and could win a real Civic Hybrid, printed with the design, for your family to use for a month!

Eco friendly cars are all the rage, and now VW’s thrown its green hat into the ring with news that its 1L concept car will finally go into production. Expected on the road by 2010, the two seater positions the driver in front of the passenger, and sits incredibly close to the ground. However, it’s able to squeeze 200 miles out of a single gallon of petrol and can run at just under 75mph. Money in your pocket, and a smile on your face!
