Binatone's camera-packing satnav
Binatone just wowed us with the first satnav to pack a rear-facing camera. It’s easily installed in your car’s existing number plate screw fixings, taking power from a simple coupling with the reversing light. As soon as you change into reverse, the camera broadcasts colour pictures wirelessly to the satnav so you can see where you’re parking. The T430 also includes Bluetooth so it can be used as a hands free speaker phone with your mobile. Out May | £180 Binatone

TomTom's new satnavs
TomTom’s updated its One and XL satnavs with smaller shells and a handy bendable dashboard mount built in. The new models come packing an entirely new audio system too, so directions are clearer than ever. When you leave the car, the windscreen mount can be folded back into the satnavs, which are still small enough to fit in a shirt pocket. As usual, TomTom’s ultra-simple software, mapshare features, safety cameras and optional traffic information is built in too. Out May | from £150 TomTom

Diamond in the works?
Rumours currently bouncing around the internet speculate that HTC is planning to put out a new Touch handset at an event on 6th May. According to reports, the Touch Diamond is a Windows Mobile 6.1 device which supports fast HSDPA downloads and has WiFi and Bluetooth built in. The Qualcomm MSM 7201A processor clocks in at a healthy 528MHz and it comes with 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM. There's also an additional 4GB of Samsung MoviNAND flash storage, so it should have plenty of space for your files. Out 6th May | £depends on contract HTC (via Pocket Lint)

Archos GPS
Gallic personal media player kings Archos have just sent us an invite to a product launch next week, and while details are sketchier than Rolf Harris on speed, one thing's a dead cert: GPS is making its way to the firm's new PMP. According to the brief invite the new pocket video rocket will "direct you to your destination of choice in Europe, the USA or even China." China? We're not planning on driving there anytime soon, but it's always good to be prepared just in case. We'll bring you the full rundown on the new models after the event next week.
