siri-fail
When Apple unveiled Siri, buried inside the iPhone 4S at the tail end of last year, it did so in a pretty unusual way. How so? Siri has a ‘beta’ tag attached to it, symbolising that it’s not quite the finished, polished product we’ve come to expect from Apple. Now a new source has come out of the woodwork declaring that the voice assistant is an “embarrassment” to Apple. Would Steve Jobs have let it be this way? Read more

After a hiatus from the fickle world of celebrity, Apple has recently made the decision to veer back into using ads with celeb iPhone 4S endorsements. Pebble is a smart watch that talks to your iOS or Android device, letting you access functions from your wrist. The only problem is that it’s now oversubscribed, meaning getting hold of one is going to be a lengthy process. Fret not: MetaWatch, a worthy competitor, has just extended its reach to include iPhone support. Read more

It’s great news, but HTC remained a bit vague as to when the update would drop. Now, though, the mobile giant has updated its website to reveal the relevant due dates. Question is: when will you get yours? Read more

Samsung’s tactic with tablets over the last couple of years has been to throw everything at the wall and see what sticks. It’s enjoyed middling success with its Galaxy Tab slates, but it’s never quite managed to match that iPad magic. With the Galaxy Note 10.1 receiving a power boost, though, has Samsung finally got it right? Read more
