Media Xporter
Filling up your Xbox 360 or PS3 hard drive already? You could replace it with a bigger version, but if you don't fancy the extra cost/hassle Iomega has another option: its new Media Xporter offers an extra 160GB of storage for movies, photos and music. The drive is compact and doesn't require any external power, getting all the juice it needs from USB 2.0, so you can easily take it round a mate's house too. Of course, being an external FAT32 hard drive it'll also work with PCs and Macs - it's just the size and lack of a power supply that make it super-suitable for consoles. Out now | £73 Iomega (via Pocket-lint)

Wii Fit on tour
Fatties rejoice! Nintendo is bringing its flab-burning Wii Fit peripheral to shopping centres and universities up and down the land, giving all and sundry a chance to give the balance board bolt-on a try. Wii Fit itself is out next Friday, 25th April, but unless you've pre-ordered it the tour might be your only chance of having a go for a while: it's sold out before it's even gone on sale! Guitar Hero III mobile
Expect to see commuters head-banging and wielding their mobiles like air guitars as Guitar Hero makes the jump from console to phone. Guitar Hero Mobile cashes in on the hugely successful franchise by turning your handset into your axe – sort of. It turns out the mobile game is a bit of pale comparison to the real deal, with just three strings to your "guitar" - which of course actually just a handset. It’s quite a stretch to imagine yourself rocking Wembley stadium as you hammer out Suck My Kiss on your phone's buttons, but Alice Cooper’s hits and more will be coming to a mobile near you soon. GTA IV to be biggest game
People are always banging on about the games industry being as big as Hollywood, and the 29th April launch of Grand Theft Auto IV looks set to be the clearest ever indicator of that. Variety magazine is predicting that GTA IV will pull in a massive $400m (£200m) worth of sales in its first week, which would make it the biggest game launch in history - and possibly the biggest ever launch for a single entertainment product. New DS rubbished
Nintendo has just scotched rumours that a new model DS will be launching at this summer's E3 expo. Famitsu boss Hirokazu Hamamura had been flapping his gums off about the prospect of a "next-gen" DS, but according to the big N, he's full of hot air: "We cannot comment on the specifics of what will be announced at E3, but at the very least there won't be anything like what Mr. Hamamura suggested, so would like to clearly deny this. We're having a hard time understanding what kind of evidence [Mr. Hamamura] had for saying this." Well, it was a nice idea while it lasted... Out TBC | £TBC Nintendo (via Kotaku)
