All (well, some) the colours of the rainbow
It’s the dinky laptop that’s have more makeovers than Madonna, and weighs about the same, and Asus’s Eee PC just got another refresh. It’s titchy frame is now available in blue, green and pink hues. Available in Japan, wrapped around the Windows XP toting versions of the Eee, there’s no word on when the new shades will reach these shores. We can only hope it’s soon. Very soon indeed. Skype for Windows
Good news Skype fans! The internet phone firm just unleashed its latest version, with an all new “audio engine” to deliver crisper sound, fewer drop outs and less delay. There’s also improved handling of headphones and microphones, so you can switch from a headset to built in speakers and mic without having to fiddle with settings. Now for the bad news. The all-new version is only available for Windows currently. Those using Macs or or Linux will have to wait a while. Out now | £free Skype

iGoogle's new themes
If you’ve signed up to use iGoogle (the search engine’s customisable homepage) you’ll probably have dabbled in changing the theme, but before today your options for re-skinning were pretty limited. Not any more. Google’s just unveiled new themes by world class artists, designers and celebrities. There’re offerings from Philippe Starck, Dolce & Gabbana and even Rolf Harris! Sharp's wireless TV
Wall mounting a flatscreen TV, but don’t want cables dangling out the back? Then you need Sharp’s new box of tricks. It’s been made in partnership with AMIMON, and sends full HD pictures in uncompressed form from any source to Sharp’s new X-series LCD TVs. It’ll work up to 30 metres, and even beams pictures through walls. It’s on sale in Japan with the new TVs already, but there’s no word on when it’ll hit the UK. Yet. TBC | £TBC Sharp
3G iPhone to cost £100?
The 3G iPhone is coming. That much we know. Now Fortune is claiming it has a source inside AT&T, saying the US mobile network will discount the new iPhone by $200, making it just $199, or around £100 when it first goes on sale. Read more
