Google’s flagship 7-inch tablet is right up the street of anyone who thinks that the iPad is too big and too showy, and is as fine a tablet choice as you can currently get on the Android side of the fence.
If only the Nexus 7‘s storage options hit a higher tier, though, right? Worry not; Google’s got your back.
Reports have hit our word holes that Google’s about to up the max storage in the Nexus 7, from 16GB to 32GB.
Huge iPad mini order reveals Apple’s secret plans
The news comes from Phone House (the Spanish version of the Carphone Warehouse) which has posted a listing for the upcoming 32GB variant at a wallet-friendly €279 (£225). Currently, the 16GB Nexus 7 will eke £199 from your savings, so this minuscule price increase for twice the storage would be amazing.
We’ll have to wait and see what comes of this, but a 32GB Nexus 7 for a budget price would certainly help it hold its ground in the run up to an iPad Mini-filled Christmas.
