Like your phones big and your pockets bulging? Then you’ll have probably spent the last few months waiting in anticipation for the sequel to the Samsung Galaxy Note; the Galaxy Note 2. Well, the wait is officially over – and you won’t be disappointed.
The Galaxy Note 2 ups the ante to a monstrous 5.5-inches of pure HD Super AMOLED display goodness, with a resolution of 1,280 x 720. Underneath that sits a quad-core, 1.6GHz Exynos processor and a huge 3,100mAh battery to keep things ticking over.
The best news, though, is that the Galaxy Note 2 will run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy S3 gets Jelly Bean!
Design wise, the Galaxy Note 2 borrows heavily from the Galaxy S3, as you’d probably expect, and the two handsets also share the same 8-Megapixel camera. The old stylus is back too, although it’s now been tweaked to provide a feeling that Samsung says is more akin to putting pen to paper.
The Galaxy Note 2 will be out before the end of the year. Time you invested in some bigger pockets? Or maybe even some larger hands?
