Got an Asus Transformer Pad? Pleased with it, but wish it boasted a few more super powers? Sure you do. Good news then, Asus is using its Jelly Bean knowhow to pump Android 4.1 into its latest tablet-turned computers, starting now.
Asus is the manufacturing power behind the Google Nexus 7, so if anyone knows how to bend Jelly Bean to its will, it’ll be the Taiwanese giant. Accordingly, the Android 4.1 update is coming to Asus’ other tabs quicker than a lot of the competition.
When will your device get Jelly Bean?
“We are pleased to announce that we will be updating many of our tablet products to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean. The Asus Transformer Pad, Asus Transformer Pad Prime and Asus Transformer Pad Infinity are all scheduled to receive an update to Jelly Bean in the coming months,” said the company.
But the wait might be non-existent.
Reports from users suggest that the Transformer Pad Infinity and the TF300T are already able to upgrade via an OTA update. Can’t get yours? You’ll have to play the waiting game, but rest assured that it won’t be long.
