In a few weeks the iPhone 5 should exist as an actual, real thing that you can go and exchange human money for. But between now and then? We’re going to have to look at bits and bobs that fall off the back of Apple trucks. Case in point: this image. But what secrets does it hold?

iPhone 5 release date confirmed?
Either way, though, what we seem to be looking at is the insides of both the iPhone 5 and – quite possibly – the iPad Mini. Both sport the oft-rumoured mini dock connector, which is now looking like an absolute dead cert.
The iPhone 5 is expected to launch early next month, and go on sale around the third week of September. Get your wallets ready; you’re going to need to buy some adapters for your iPod docks.
