Amazon’s pretty good, we’re sure you’ll agree? But there is one innate problem that plagues it and any other delivery service: what happens if something arrives when you’re not home? Worry not: the new Collect+ scheme is coming to a newsagent near you.
Amazon has reportedly signed up 5000 corner shops and newsagents around the UK to make the new scheme a reality, and to put an end to having to have your packages left with a neighbour.
Essentially, if you think you’re going to be out when your package arrives (you know, because of work), you’ll be able to choose Collect+ as your delivery option, which’ll ship your order to your nearest participating shop.
From there, you’ll be able to wander along in your own time and pick it up yourself. Job’s a good’un.
