‘iPhone 5′ is the phrase on the tip of every Apple fan’s tongue right now. Like that moment just before a deluge of rain crashes down, there’s a feeling in everyone’s bones that the handset’s launch is fast approaching. Question is, has US network AT&T just let slip something approaching a concrete iPhone 5 release date?

According to BGR, a secret source from the network has revealed that the company is preparing its employees for a period of intense business during October, following a handset launch in the last week or two of September.

What can we learn from the iPhone 5 prototype?

This ties up with earlier rumours that Apple’s set to make the iPhone 5 announcement on September 12th. What would then follow would be the usual 10-15 day wait for availability.

The iPhone 5’s set to come sporting a 4-inch display, a slightly taller, thinner chassis and a shrunken charging port. The rest remains a mystery. NFC? Quad-core processor? An even better camera? We’ll just have to wait until September to find out.

In the mean time, here’s this:

    Gettinga bit
Boring this, no one wants a long thin iPhone screen we want a screen like the galaxy s3 ( but maybe not as extreme in size) but folk will still buy it as they’ve got them by the knackers after previouse iPhone apps
