I should win a Samsung 32-inch LED Smart TV from Argos because I’m fed up with just settling down to watch a programme, when out of nowhere, appear 5 cats, and they all want to sit on my lap and watch TV with me. I want to get comfy and lay down on the sofa and watch it on my own, so, if I won the TV, then the cats could go in their own room and sit on the mat (which is where cats should sit, so I’ve heard) and then they can all argue over what they want to watch without bothering me with their meows and sad little looks when I’m not watching the Animal Planet or Discovery channels. I mean, what would the problem be – they’d have it all in the one room, the TV, food, drink, and a litter tray – what more could 5 cats need?
Sorry, I can’t do poems, have no sob stories – well I have but you’d be bored silly, but I do really have 5 cats, and a dog, a husband and 2 kids who’ve driven me a bit crazy over the years.
I’ve either convinced you I need that TV or that I’m mad, or both – who wins – you decide!!!

I should win a Samsung 32-inch LED Smart TV from Argos because we only have a small tv on the wall right now. Doesn’t sound too bad? Imagine a VERY short sighted woman squinting at the screen. It makes me look constantly angry and I’m getting frown lines. Add to that a toddler son with hearing problems (it’s amazing the noise that comes out of such a small body) so having to have the tv on loud. Which our tv isn’t designed to do. So picture me again, squinting at the tv, listening to a very tinny version of loud, leaning forward to hear, looking like I’m 40 years older than I am. Sob. Just being in the same room as my husband while he is watching cricket, football or Formula One on TV could trigger a recurrence of this condition so I really need my own TV which I can safely watch in another room.
