Jelly Bean may only just be out of the jar, but enterprising Android fans have leaked it already. If you’ve got a rooted Galaxy Nexus, you can get your hands on a cracked version right now.

You do so at your own risk, of course. We’re not responsible if your phone blows up.

Jelly Bean isn’t due until next month, launching with the Nexus 7, and coming as an over-the-air update to for the Galaxy Nexus, Motorola Xoom, and Samsung Nexus S. But you can get it now, providing your Galaxy Nexus is rooted. RootzWiki is the place to find it.

Again, we have to stress this isn’t the official version, so you download at your own risk. It’s also not the final version. It’s based on a backup of the GSM preview rolled out at Google’s I/O developer conference. So there could well be bugs, crashes, freezes and the rest.

Jelly Bean brings features like an advanced Voice Search that brings up results far quicker than Siri, as well as Google Now, which basically organises your life for you. We’re not sure if either will be active in this leak, as it may be Google isn’t ready to support them prior to the official launch. If you do download, let us know how you get on.
