USB3 appears on a MacBook for the first time and whilst this is an evolutionary upgrade on USB2 not a given on a Mac. More surprising is the appearance of an HDMI port on a MacBook. Whilst HDMI has previously appeared on the Mac mini users of MacBooks have had to rely on Mini DisplayPort to HDMI converters. Does this signal a move by Apple towards providing greater connectivity as desired by many users? Perhaps we will see USB3 and/or HDMI ports appear in future iPads/iPods/iPhones? You might make more clear that the fact most have not done so is the reason for the blurry images, not that there is any fault with the display. She was right, but in spite of that I still prefer wearing corrective lenses.
