Apple announced iOS 6 at its WWDC keynote on Monday, and there was lots to talk about. So much so, in fact, that the company’s executives couldn’t cover everything, and developers with access to the iOS 6 beta have been finding all sorts of things since. Now, there’s a crowd-sourced list charting every and any change.
Head on over to iMore and you’ll find a comprehensive and regularly updates list of all the new iOS 6 features, from new Siri services to small visual changes. Here are just a few of our favourites which Apple never mentioned on Monday.
- Siri’s sports knowledge extends beyond American past times to cover the Premier League, and the top flight footie leagues in Italy, Spain, France, Holland and Germany as well.
- Navigation is now viewable from the lock screen, which is helpful if you’re trying to find somewhere on foot and only need to occasionally glance at your phone for directions.
- Your dictionary is now stored in iCloud – so any words you add to your dictionary on your iPhone will be remembered the next time you peck out an email on your iPad.
